My Big Girl

 We sent McKinley's surgeons a thank you/update card today.  Dr. Letton, Dr. Kreykes, and Dr. Keckler will always hold a special place in our family's heart.  I am sure they get updates from lots of families.. but I wanted them to know how much we appreciate them, and what a difference they made in our lives!

McKinley has decided to WALK.  She still crawls sometimes, but she would definitely rather walk than crawl these days.  I can't believe it that my BABY is WALKING.

She also got her big girl carseat.  They change the requirements for being forward facing, it seems ALL the time... as far as age is concerned.  But she for sure doesnt even qualify weight wise.. so she is still sitting backwards.  And probably will for a while.

I have mentioned before how hysterical she is.. every night she goes to bed and will really be sleepy.  And then she will start making some noise so that one of us will go into her room.  When we do, she will start laughing so hard, that she scrunches up one side of her face and closes one of her eyes.  She will tilt her head back so you can see all of her teeth.  It is the most adorable thing ever.  I hope she always finds joy in the small things!!!
