McKinley Beth- 3 Months

This little girl is THREE months old.

Holy Cow.

In one respect, it seems like these three months have flown by. But at the same time, it feels like forever. It seems like it was forever ago that we were anticipating her arrival, not knowing what to expect. It seems like forever ago we were in the hospital.

And I am THANKFUL that we are home with our baby girl. Thankful that we get to see her grow and develop. We will never take our time with McKinley (or Jackson) for granted.

McKinley continues to grow. She is around 9 lbs. She is still eating about 4 oz at a time. During the day she will eat every 3 hours or so. But at night she will go much longer. She will eat at 9 or 10 pm and then wake up at 3-4 am. And then will be up for the day between 7-9 am. We have been blessed to have such a good sleeper. I really do think that being in the NICU has something to do with McKinley's good sleeping habits.

McKinley has really started testing out her voice. She talks often and LOUD. It really makes us laugh. At first I thought she might be talking loud since she can only hear from one ear. But I really think she is just talking loud, because she lives in a house full of loud talkers. Whatever it is, I absolutely LOVE hearing her voice.
McKinley is a happy baby. She smiles all the time (unless she is hungry or gassy or has a wet diaper.. in which case she lets you know IMMEDIATELY). She loves to look at me, her daddy or her brother and get the biggest smile on her face. It makes my heart melt.every.time. She is a total joy. TOTAL JOY.

Thank you Jesus for our little girl. Thank you for healing her and choosing us to be her parents.
